Fuel range in my M!008

So I think i get about 16 MPG in my M1008 with the 37 inch tires and the th400 transmission. I know it has a 20 gallon tank. what i dont know is how far it can go on a tank I don't see 330 miles out of one tank of diesel at like 65 mph. anyone have any ideas ?

To max out your mileage, I think you need to be somewhere around 2200 rpm...at least I think I remember seeing a fuel vs torque curve and that was sorta the sweet spot... If that's true, then 50mph would net you the best mpg but you would probably get run over on the highway.
I am willing to bet 300 miles is pretty close with your setup at 65ish.

Gas buddy says I will spend 150 bucks or so to get it Oregon. I was thinking wayyy more.

Are you going by your gauge or by how much you put in at the pump? My tank will read empty, but I'll only be able to add 17-18 gallons. I think its a 27 gallon tank.

My gauge floats when it gets to 3/4 tank empty but when its on E its empty.

I've never understood this. My m1009 is the same way
