Fuel sender wire specifics

Is there a specific guage of wire that's supposed to be used for the sender signal? I'm rewiring and I was gonna use 16ga just not sure if it's gonna affect the ohms/resistance and acuracy

That’s more than big enough. There is VERY little current going through the wire and resistance per foot of 16 gauge is insignificant.
