Fuel Tank Question

Will a fuel tank from an 87 to 91 blazer work in a 82-86 Blazer. I will be using the sending unit from my 85 in the 87 to 91 tank. I know there are baffles in the EFI tanks but that is the only difference I can find. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

As long as they are the same capacity, they will be fine.

25 or 31 gallon, difference will be in the height of the tank and sender, that's it.

Ok that's what I was thinking. Both 31 gallons and I'm gonna put new straps on anyways while I have it apart. Thanks
