Fuel Tank Sender?

I ordered up a new fuel sender from classic parts. According to them, the 31gal tank in a '73 K5 has 4 outlets.

After dropping the tank today, I see that this one has 3 outlets and doesn't drop into the tank as far as the new one...I can get pics, but they will be crappy cell phone ones since my good camera is broke.

I measured to verify that this is indeed a 31gal tank. It is. There are no loose hoses or lines under the truck...

What do I do with this 4th outlet? Engine is a carbed 350, mech fuel pump. Thanks in advance.

My 77 31 gal tank has 4 ports on the sender. Fuel out (3/8), fuel return (5/16), breather (5/16) and a 5/8" barb for the fuel filler vent line.
