Fuel tank sending unit

I'm in need of a new fuel tank, and probably a new sender. Has anyone replaced the fuel sending unit? If so, where did you find one? I checked with Nat'l Auto Line, they have one for an '89 for $182. Will that work for my '87? Also, they have a replacement 31 gal tank for $112. Has anyone put in one of those tanks. Is it a metal baffle?

no, the 89 will not be compatible with a 87! thats the problem i ran into... check my post about it that i made like 2 days ago, many people replied with websites that might have it . thanks
