So, what's the easiest way to get 30 gallons of gas out of a 99 Burb? Have some 5gal cans I can transfer into. Just found out the shipper for the 99 requires less than a quarter tank.

I went down to the local auto parts and found a small siphon tube with a little squeeze ball in line to get the gas moving from one tank to another. It was only about $15 but took a long time to move. Like a few hours for about 20 gallons.
Something like this but mine was "a little" nicer.....

electric fuel pump would be the Easiest, I assume..
but this is what I use, I just cut the ends off. so its just pure hose

use a gage like the one in thise video. Attach it to the fuel port (same as checking pressure). On the side of the gage is a release button and drain port. run a tube into your gas can and then jumper the fuel pump relay.

Was thinking of hooking up that hose, and taking the gauge off....and letting it free flow into a can.
I'll try it out. Where do i jumper the fuel pump relay?
on my 06 2500 it was right there in the fuse relay panel under the hood. not sure where your relay is. read the relay and jumper the contacts that would close during operation. keep in mind .. SAFETY the fuel there at the port is 55 PSI or so!

The relay trick works. Local gas station took a big fillup of fuel, and it turned out to be about 90% water.
My mechanic friend made a mint on pumping the water out of about 60 cars.
He had several short pieces of wire with a male spade connector on each end. He would hook up a hose to the return line on some, gauge port on others, and unplug the relay.
Then stuck the jumper in the NO terminal sockets.

Couldn't find a good way to hook up to the test port, so i removed the fuel filter, and put a hose on the line from the tank.
Didn't know the fuel pump relay would have normal relay numbered contacts.

Lucked out, it only had about 1/2 tank in it, so i pulled about 12 or 13 gallons, and called it good. Read below 1/4.

Another way to do it if you have a compressor,is to put an air blow gun into the filler neck and use a rag or something similar to seal up around the blow gun,and just apply enough air pressure to make the fuel come out of the fuel line,do not put too much pressure or you can cause trouble with the emiision canister and plumbing or possibly make a borderline tank leak--just put some air in,wait until the gas nearly stops flowuing into the can,before repeating the process........................................................................................................my friend often has to do this at his shop when an electric fuel pump croaks with the tank more than 1/4 full,its a real pain and dangerous pulling down a tank with a lot of gas in it...I once helped him do a half full tank on a full sized truck,when it came free from the straps and the undercarriage,the weight took both of us right down to the floor,when the gas sloshed to one side!...a good amount of gas sloshed out of the filler neck opening too,it could have been a disaster if a spark had occoured or it hit the droplight,etc...he wont pull a tank that has more than a few gallons in it now without draining it first...
Damn, had I seen this post a couple days ago I would have said the easiest way would be for me to come over and siphon it for you free of charge right into my blazer while you sat back doing nothing more than drinking a beer. 
i was even wondering why no one volunteered to help "relieve" the burden of too much free gas.
