Fugly Fiberglass Top

The PO of my rig had it painted, and had the white fiberglass top painted too. Now the paint's peeling off the top, turning black, and just looking bad. Any suggestions for the best way to get it looking better?

I sanded mine and "painted" it with spray bedliner. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

sanded mine smooth and sprayed it with standard auto paint(same apple red as the rest of the rig). Turned out great, and 2 years later it still looks great.
