My rides door latches make a lot of squeekin on rough roads, Im thinking of welding some pipes from my roll bar to the windshild frame, or should i say bolting to the windshield frame,,, they didnt squeek when the hard top was on so I think its going to cure the problems, Never using that hard top again so Any coments or ideas??? Keith
PS: free full 1975 hard top anyone???

Tieing the cage to the windshild would be the best thing to do. It will put the strenght back where it came from. Tieing the legs to the door frame near the latch would also help.

Actually the guy that I bought it from did the conversion but yes he did a great job... Ive seen people do it both ways, cutting the windshield frame and welding a 73-75 windshield frame top on it and seen people cut across the top. this had the 75 frame welded on and Im happy with it...

I eventually want a white top, the one I have now is black.. unfortunately bestop doesnt make a white one and I hate the idea of drilling more holes....
