Full Convertible top

Hey guys I"m a Suburban guy, but thinking about getting a K5 for the full convertible experience, since I sold my TJ last summer. I know this may be a dumb question for some of you, but what year did the "full convertble" end? Thanks in advance

'75 was the last of the full removeable top, IIRC. After that, only comes of behind front seats.

My 76 had the half top, if that helps.

Yep, '75 is the last year of the fully removable top. All of the 1st gen K5's (69-72) had fully removable tops, and it continued in the first three model years of the 2nd gen (73-75). Depending upon where you are and what you can spend, they can be hard to find in decent shape, but they are cool!

There are a couple of people on here who have converted a later model K5 to a "full top" but it's a lot of custom fab work.
