Thanks Battlewagon83 that will help out a lot. For some strange reason I was thinking the top of the door kicked up right above the door handle, but can clearly see in your pic it is smooth and the kick up is the bed side. Great info and I really appreciate it and your time. And nvrenuf that info and pics could be vital also, sounds like your going the traditional way and using donor parts? Having both on one page would be great, not just for me, but for future k5ers. Again guys thanks for all the great info.
So based off of the many pics i got, looks like the connecting strip goes about half an inch to the windshield. then the roof was cut about 4 inches back. The B Pillars were also cut off at the body and capped and the doors cut to match. From the inside it LOOKS like where the roof was cut it was just capped. This is one of the only blazers ive dealt with so i couldnt tell you if a stock one is different. so you could just compare it to yours. I also included some pictures of how all the door jams were cut and you can see where the skeleton for the soft top was connected to the winshield.
