full floater woes - truck won't move

 Something sounds goofy... so you were able to roll the axle under the truck?

yea we rolled the axle right under it so im thinkin he hooked up the parking brake to tight.

i wish that were the case bro... the parking brake aint even hooked up!

and ya it rolled fine but that one side was always locked and spun the pumpkin with the tire like at the same rate... if that makes any sense. and i looked at my truck today and i actually spun the free spinning tire and it locked up too. i can see the marks on the tire where it spun. driveshaft is fine but im guessing it locked up and now either of them wont move... didnt really have time today to further investigate this so hopefully within the next couple of days if work permits me.

o ya, 73redblaze i got your message mang call me tomorrow i aint got nothin to do between 11 and 2 so hit me up lets go get lunch or somthin

Still sounds like you have one brake frozen and your gov lock kicked in to me... Pull the brakes apart on the stuck side and go from there.

will do... hopefully i'll get to that thursday if not then the weekend for sure..... gotta love my school/work schedule... ill let u know how it goes

I know how that goes... I just started a 15 cr load Monday on top of a 40 hr/week job...:doah:

My company is paying for tuition and books so I can squeeze in my homework when things get slow... ;) I didn't say I was doing good yet though  We will see how it goes over the next couple weeks.

you're lucky. i gota pay $$$ all by my lonesome! and now i got another problem on top of this so the burb is gonna have to wait! my '85 caddy daily driver crapped out on me so now i have to drive my project car everywhere. its a 69 caddy with a 500 and it sucks gas like no other i'd almost rather drive my truck. and now i think the alternator just went out on that one. see other post. hopefully i'll have some time tomorrow to work on the burb but we'll see:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
