I was wondering if anybody out there with FULL Hyrdo steering would mind posting some pics of how they attached their ram to the front axle (dana60)?? I am going to go full hydro but can't decide the best way to attach the ram to my axle:confused: If it matters I will be using the factory knuckles. That takes me to another question how well does the stock knuckle hold up to full hydro steering, and is it better to attach the ram ends to were the tie-rod would normaly go or is it better to bolt steering arms to the top of the knuckle and use them or should I not waste my time and get after-market knuckles ???? any help would be great, THANKS

one double ended ram in center of axle how could it be single ended if its full hydro and not ass??

A single ended, double acting ram (meaning it can provide force in both directions, like the ones we use for hydro assist) can certainly be used for full hydro.

Attaching your steering at the top of the knuckle (high steer) is much harder on the knuckles. Its your call if the clearance is worth potentially breaking a knuckle. You can always plate your knuckles too (there are a bunch of pics on pirate, search over there).

If your going the high steer route...I highly recommend getting better knuckles. I'm running 4"s of lift and the diff is moved 4 1/2" forward.
