*Should* work, but the diesel tanks in cars were constructed a bit differently than related gas ones.
More of a question than anything, but the car ones were designed to have the pickup above the bottom of the tank to keep any accumulated water from getting sucked in. Car tanks also had a water "drain valve" as well.
Kinda hard to tell though unless someone here has compared, are the diesel senders the same as gas units? If not, there may be issues with the baffles/depth to bottom of tank.
