What kind do you want? stock SPICER or aftermarket WARN, or MM or SUPERWINCH.

I dont really have a preference only because I am inexperienced. I looked at warn's website but I didnt see any pics to tell me for sure I would be ordering the right thing. What would you ues

Well I use the stock spicers because they are the only ones made from steel instead of aluminum.
For some reason others prefer the aftermarket ones.
If I were you I would get more opinions here and then when you know what you want, I have all of them.:thumb:

Did you put an external or internal hub style axle? The original axle in the '83 would have been the internal style where it looks like the locking hub cap, or cap cover, is just pushed on the end of the hub. The external style is where the locking hub is bolted to the end of the hub.

If it's the same style axle then you could have just swapped in the locking hubs from the old axle.

This is what I would do if you still have them.

I have Warns and they work pretty well. I will probably be going the Spicer route this year though as the Warns have failed on me twice.
