I'm kinda still in the tire kicking stage at this point but after selling my '68 C10, I'd like to have a side project to tinker with again. I'm looking for a 2wd mainly but will convert a 4wd if needed. I'd rather have a clean shell and frame to start with. Everything else can happen slowly and as budget allows.
I've also thought about buying a diesel Blazer and making it a full vert. (here in CA, it needs to be '75 and older to be smog exempt OR a '96 and older diesel.) Even if the drivetrain is missing, I want a legit diesel title to start. I'm not crazy about the full vert conversion though, would much rather wait for a clean body and pay for it.
Considering everything right now. Trying to get an understanding of the market outside my local bubble. Thanks guys
