I eventually would like to do a full vert swap on my 78 but finding a donor truck around here is tough. Is there anyone that manufactures just the windshield part to weld in? I'm not worried with a hard top as the whole purpose would be to go with a soft top or topless.

\Might just want to make it yourself. Wouldn't be hard to make something to attach a softtop.

anyone have any idea how to do this? or have any pictures, detailed, of theirs that I could use to fabricate one? I'd actually love to try it.

If you aren't worried about putting a hardtop on it, cutting the roof and simply filling the gap with sheet metal or even some proper sized square tubing would be possible.
