Fullsize Pre-runner Thread!

the video of that first gen is so sick. The whole time, I just kept saying to myself "you know you can't do that right?" "it'll break, don't even think about it, he has some special luck that you DON'T" haha

any specs on tire size/ suspension setup on that?

I like to go fast as much as the next guy but it's getting out of control price wise... for $400k you could do so much more than a single truck IMO... $100k for a wild pre-runner that would still dish out more than most of us could handle, $100k for a brand new diesel tow rig and insane trailer... plus $200k in the bank. ;)

someone who can afford a truck like rg's can afford the 100k prerunner and truck/trailer too, along with a prep shop and crew:) it's disgusting.

btw if you wanted to build a vehicle like rg's truck it'd cost you more then 400k. But with that being said it doesn't take a lot of money to prerun.

How about an Old School race blazer.

Dont get me wrong, I love seeing these built prerunners, but I think this old blazer is purty :eek1:

Ok, I live 8 hours from the sand. I would like to take my K30 that has a OK 454. I am afraid it will beat my brains out on the rough sand. Any suggestions? I already go down with my atc 250R.

That is an open ended and expensive question.

I guess I should say it like this. I am not looking to reinvent the wheel I just wanted to know if its worth dragging the stiff riding thing there. I would love to build a alum headed 427bbc in a 88-98 2wd and fly it but once a year is not enough. If I spent some money on shocks would it help?

i wheeled my 2003 4dr long bed Chevy at Glamis. You would be surprised what stock can do.

Shocks and bump stops would be the first expense. What other suspension upgrades have you done?
