Did someone ask about functional bling?
Polished Tuned Port Injection setup anyone?

No this isn't my old tpi setup... I gave this tuned port system the polishing treatment for tweaker (Dillon)..

Whats Dillon up to? I haven't talked to him since last year's Blazer Fest. He lives 10 minutes away too....:o

Wow - that is beautiful!

So - you offering this as a service now? - cause if so - how much and where do I ship my stuff? :D

Is that just spray paint in the grooves, or powdercoat?

He's building a first gen wheeler.. been doing some research and finding the right ingredients to make a killer rig from scratch. :wink1:

I'll do it again for the right price. ...the first one is always cheaper.. now i know what i'm in for. This one took me forever cause i wanted it to be real nice for a friend.
its spray paint in the grooves, btw.
I prefer to find a setup, polish it, and sell it, just because theres a risk of damaging the aluminum parts in the process.
An exchange is a definate possibility. I have a line on another setup i could do.. PM me for more info.

What do you use to produce that bling? A mixture of techniques, I'd guess. Pedestal polishing wheel, and felt hobs in a die grinder or dremel for the tight spots? What compounds do you use. I got a Mercruiser TPI setup fo my BBC thats painted, or powdercoated black. I fantasize abought stripping and polishing it. I don't know, though.

I've got an aluminum Merlin BBC block that needs some polishing......are you game??? :wink1:

I was thinking about a Chevy Orange anodizing, but fully polished might be even more over-the-top.
