where does the fuse block draw power? and ground? how about the column? when i turn on my turn signals my volts drop to 10 volts. when i check power at fuse box i will have 10 then after some secs i will have 12, like its searching for a ground and sometimes my starter remote wire will have 12 volts sometimes it will have 7.

All power for the interior comes in through the fuse panel/engine bay connector.

IIRC, the ignition wires are not fused (fusible links in the engine bay). But they do come out of the back of the fuse box. Not sure on the column, probably fused.

Check voltage at the junction block in the engine bay. If it doesn't vary, the problem is either ground or wiring after that point. If problem exists there, alternator or any wiring/components between the junction block and battery.

All grounds are directly to the body or frame. Many interior right to the buss bar on the drivers side above the emergency brake pedal, up around where the dash AC vent exits.

voltage is good at the junction block. does not flutuate. i was hoping you would reply. so you think its ground? and you said all of them ground to the left side of the body bear guages?

Are you measuring with a volt meter or just off of the gauge?

Is it only when the turn signal is used, or other times? Bad ground(s) for the signals can cause problems like this.

IIRC when we were working on it last weekend when I would hit the brakes, turn signals, headlights, whatever, it would cause the voltmeter to take a dive. I was measuring it at the fuseblock and it was doing the same as the gauge was. Even the indicator light for the e-brake was pulsing bright dim bright dim

i did knot noticed the brakes chris but if i turn on the headlamp it does not nose dive but that could be its not drawing power from fuse block since i got the relay mod. but yes when the turn signals are on the brake light flashs and volt guage goes crazy. and a big problem is the starter deal

i thought the headlights did it, but Im thinking headlights didnt do it anymore than the running lights did, they affected it to an extent
