, , I'm putting my Galaxy Saturn up for sale. $300.00 or best offer.
Probably won't make it until the end on Ebay since it is a "banned item" but good luck.
Why are you selling your toy?
There's alot of them selling on Ebay. There's nothing illeagle about owning one of these radios. I'm selling it so I can buy a President Lincoln. I talk mostly SSB and that 6th digit of the freq counter is nice.
Not doing too bad, only been listed for 12 hours and the bid is up to $100.00 already.
It's over $100 because I set a max bid of $100 and I received an outbid notice
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5743721276&ssPageName=STRK:MESC:IT ...... Ebay Item number: 5743721276 .... Anybody wanta help me cheat ?? I set the reserve ar $250.00 . Anyone want too run the bid up ?? Just don't go over $249.00 if you don't want it. Be really cool if the bid would get up to $200.00 today. But I'm just hopeing.
Well, Ebay ended my aution. I guess I'm screwed trying too sell it so I can buy the other radio I want. Damn it !!!!!
I noticed that today too. I have seen quite a few radios on Yahoo auctions but have never used yahoo myself, but it seems like they let the export stuff sell.
Relisted with just a buy it now. Item number: 5744191091
SOLD !!!! Relisted on Ebay with a BUY IT NOW price of $250.00 . Sold in under 4 hours.
Congrats on sneaking in under the eBay radar. It's not easy, but can be done.
Don't know why they killed my first listing, there are many Galaxy Saturns listed on Ebay.
eBay can be a real PITA. Great place to sell if it is something that they are completely familiar with and "safe" to sell, but they are a PITA when there may be some question.
Got all my toys taken out of the Saturn. (Door bell ping, Toilet flush, and Howling wolf. ) The doorbell ping is my fav. It sounds like a doorbell every time I key the mic. Haven't used the other noise toys in a few years.
Just shipped it to FL. Crarged the buyer $30.00 for shipping, cost me $90.00 for packanging and shipping. Oh well, Guess I should have looked into it better. Live and learn.
