The Trucks just left and I think I am in shock. The Batallion leader says it looks like some type of accidental combustion, not electrical.

Wife, kids and dog are ok. Luckily it was a detached gargae.

The structure is still intact and will not have to be rebuilt but I lost ALOT of tools.

Dam dude that sucks but your vehicles are OK right? Don't forget any books you had out there too. Glade you and the family is OK.

That sucks. Glad noone was injured. Now make sure you can document anything that you lost for insurance purposes. So accidental combustion as in spontaneous combustion? This is why you keep all soiled rags in a fire safe container.

Thanks bud.

The Burb, Caddy and TB are AOK.

I had a set of 049 BBC Heads that were right in the middle of the flames, and I am really worried about them.

They were dissasembled and I was cleaning them up. I mean nothing is melted, except maybe the valve guides, but I have not looked at them yet.

You did have insurance right?

Sucks for sure.....could have been worse though. You have your health and sounds like most of your stuff.

... looks like some type of accidental combustion, not electrical...

Sorry to hear that - Glad everyone's OK.

I was at HF a couple of days ago. They had the "Oily Rag" can on sale pretty cheap. I thought - nahhh, I don't need that. I may go back today and pick one up.

Damn! That really sucks man! I always keep an extra fire extinguisher in my garage, but it sounds like that would have done you no good. Glad no one was hurt. That's the most important thing.

That is a must from this point forward.

I usually throw them out, but I was not done what I was doing.

I am also going to get a liquids cabinet.

Thanks again guys!

Glad no one was hurt, that def. sucks, sorry to hear about it .
