So my parents is getting a new house. It has a 7 foot garage door. my truck is roughly 7 foot tall. When most garage doors go up do they tuck back in or am i going to miss it just by a few inches? not trying to be lazy but I dont have a key to the house to measure. thanks ck5

Depends on the garage door tracks and such. I've seen some hang down a little when fully opened and some that go fully opened. Best thing to do is see if the door is adjustable to be able to let it open up more and not hang down. Typically that can be done with a couple more turns of the torsion spring unless it has an electric door opener then I have no idea.

YOu really need to measure it. Ive seen some doors hang down below the top beam and ive seen some go all the way back, even if the garage is 7foot tall, the door will still be lower even if it goes all the way back.

HOA around here wont let you do that. HOA is ok in some aspects but in a mechanics aspect sucks.

your parents let you park in the garage? i have to park my ass on the street

probally what i am going to have to do is either let all the air out of my tires are get some very small rollers.

I had some stock front tires and had to let almost all of the air out to get into my garage. 7 foot door and the truck was a 1-ton with 6" lift.

12" leafs....
