I am stealing this idea from Surpip on Pirate.

Post up the prices where you are and perhaps we can get an idea of what we will all pay.

Carbondale Co. is 2.86 for diesel and 2.77 for low grade unleaded. Glenwood Springs is usually a bit cheaper than that if you get away from the Interstate.

What are your prices?

Well prices are dropping down in CA:
It was $3.10 a couple of weeks ago, now I just filled up for $2.55 and that is for gas.
Diesel was $3.50 now at just under $3.00 and going down.
:D By the time we go maybe it will be cheaper than any state, Yeah right.
:o

Here in Vegas average is 2.85 for Diesel. I am sure this will be a stop for a lot of guys coming from Cali.

A quick note.
Moab prices tend to be near the prices that I pay here in Carbondale. At least with that assumtion I have yet to get there and be shocked.

I've seen $2.09 for regular in Omaha today. Looks like I'll be driving uphill...

Can anyone tell me a legit reason why diesel is MORE than gas?!?!:mad::mad:

Offer and demand
It used to be cheaper which is why I was interested in it, then too many manufacturer caught on the idea and started making more Light duty trucks and cars with diesel engines, so the suppliers saw the demand and raised the price, that is all.
:o

oh yeah gas in junction well at the gas stop round the corner is 2.35 they dont have deisel

Here in the Georgia-South Carolina area gas is going for $1.95 and diesel is $2.59. I have been told that the diesel is higher because of the new ULSD takes more refining and cost more to make. That is the excuse from the fuel guys that deliver to the construction company I work for.

Now they finally are going to make that new spec diesel but they have raised the prices more than a year ago.
