What kind of mileage are yall getting from your rigs? What modifications do you have? I searching to find the best mileage I can. Thank you for the response.

I am getting 12 in town (easy driving) and 14 on the freeway (without a head wind). My truck is a '91 blazer, all stock unless you count a K&N as a mod. Stock: 350/700R4/3.08 and worn down off brand 33s (now 31s). Good Luck.

Search really is your best friend for questions like this. It's been covered a whole bunch just the last week. Three seperate threads that I can recall. This forum does move pretty fast though, so I can understand if you missed them.

The search button is towards the right side of the header below where it says "Welcome..."

Advanced search can dig back to the site's very beginnings...

Mostly these things get somewhat horrible mileage, unless you have a diesel and then it gets somewhat acceptable mileage. Commuter cars they aren't.

it depends on how and where you drive it and if it includes wheelin but i got about 16 on highway with my foot out with 35's and OD. about 12-14 in town with my foot out.

stock 91 w/ 31s 16-17 total(1/2 highway 1/2 intown)

it needs a tuneup which will be done on thursday and i drive on the highway at 65-70(but need to tone it down some)

lot more fun than the 87 s10 i had which got 17mpg

Well, my 89 has a stock engine with the exception of an MSD ignition and single 3" exhaust with hi-flo cat. I have a D60 front axle, 14ff rear axle with 4.56's and 35's and around town i get about 9.5-10mpg but if i go for a run down the freeway at 70mph i get about 14mpg. I do have OD tranny for the freeway though.

sorry guys I totaly forgot about the search thingy, as dumb as that sounds. I guess I'll know for next time. I posted the question up to kinda see what to expect from my blazer since the clutch in my f**d cratered on me. I'm a college student and I dont have the 900 bucks to drop on a clutch. (dang parts for diesels are expensive) I gotta drive the k5 back to college this weekend. Let me rephrase that. I GET to drive the K5 back. Gonna show them people what a REAL offroad machine looks like.;) Theres to many lifted but dont go wheelin trucks up there.

Sorry again about the search thing.
