gas tank anti squeak pads

got them from lmc, now do i just stick them between the tank and straps or good idea to use some type of cement spray to keep them from moving on me. specially the to that go between the tank and the floor.

When I did mine, I couldn't find those pads. So I used bicycle innertube. I used spray adheisive on the tube and strap. So when I pull the tank again, its stuck on the strap only.
