Hey all, I'm having a problem. What i have is an aftermarket tank built by Northwest Metal Prod. I believe it was installed when the Blazer was bought new. I recently took the tank out to install a new sending unit and when out i had the tank painted and some new stainless straps made for it. Problem is, that when the tank was out and drained of fuel the Liner material install by NWP when new, started to dry out and is now flaking and clogging everything up. It is the 40-42 gallon and i don't really want to have to buy a new one just yet. I need to clean all the old lining out? does anyone have any ideas? I was thinking of contacting a machine shop and seeing if maybe i could have it dipped in something. Any suggestions appreciated. Thankx, Kenai
