Otherwise does anyone know the dims of the 21 gal tank from the gen 1s or the 25 and 31 gal tanks fomr the later models? Thanks

I imagine that doesn't count the filler hose, just the tank square itself...

What about the 21 gal stock 1st gen tanks?

These are the specs. from my Blazers & Suburbans - all 1982 - 1991. The 25 gallon tank is same length and width as the 31, just thinner - I think it's around 8".

Blazer tank - 31 gallon - is 28.5" long X 28.25" wide X 11.5" deep.
Suburban 40 gallon tank - is 34.5" long X 28.25" wide X 11.5" deep
