Which would you use? I've got both now. My blazer currently has a patched metal one and I just bought a skid plate and the guy gave me an almost new plastic tank that he had put in just a few months earlier. Would you use the "new" plastic or keep the metal one in?
Thanks,
Matthew

I have had both.
I bought the Polyethelane replacement tank a few years ago and it did work very well. Then the O-ring seal for the sending unit started to leak gas everytime I filled the tank to the top. Not sure why the seal gave out after only two yrs.? I ended up getting a 37gallon tank to replace the 21 poly tank. With the poly tank you will never have to worry about rust in your gas.
Good luck
