J/K, having that kind of fuel capacity must be nice at times for sure.
 
how does the stock tank mount? I have a 1.5" BL would it be hard to raise the mounts up? I might have to run a stock style so I can have a center drop limiting strap for the rear end.

The flange on the side of the gas tank (seam all the way around) just bolts to the bottom of the frame rail.
 
could you wiggle it past the bottom of the frame rail then build brackets to bolt it up higher in the frame or anything?

Yep, might work that way.
Frame rails seem wide enough to do it that way.

Just slip it in on top of some spacers and I bet you'd be all set. :waytogo:
 
The local junk yard said $40 for a stocker tank, might see if I can find a decent one and try that.
