Gas Tank Question

Has Anyone Used A Gas Tank From A '99 1/2 Ton Pickup In A K5? Im Just Wondering If It Would Work.

My gut feeling says its sized to the wheelbase. (and mounted midship instead of aft-axle.) So with the K5 being shorter in wheelbase, I doubt it will be an easy fit.

99 1/2 ton is going to be long/wide style. Havn't measured, but seems it would be too wide for the K5's narraw frame, and probably to long for the k5.
