How would I tell if it's a 25 gallon tank? I have a '73 that's going to be scrapped monday and I can pull the sender out for you tomorrow. I'm just not 100% sure if it works or not since there was no gauge in it when I got it.

I don't know. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gifI only know mine's 25 gallons, because I ran out of gas a few times, and it takes 23 gallons to fill up. I'd still be interested, you can test it with an ohmmeter. I believe it should go from 0 to 90 ohms as you move the float.
