has anyone added gas tanks to their blazer?

how hard is it, is there alot of fab that needs to go into it?

im looking into putting more tanks in my 82 Jimmy, how many can you fit?

thank you;)

I looked into the 41 gallon one that you see in catologs like in JCW. The problem with it was that you had this big anchor hang down basically. It's kills your departure angle a lot. I would suggest just going with a 31 gallon and then having 2 extra j-cans. Maybe a rr bumper with a j-can holder like the one DIY4X offers. (nice rr bumpers, I got to get one of thoses)

Just remember that here in CA. if you install another gas tank you must have a CARB OE number for it even if it is a factory tank from a different vehicle. You will fail a smog check if the smog guys sees it and makes a stink about it.

Not to worry, my tuck was built from the factory a 82 jimmy DIESEL, and i put in the 545, so i don't have to somg it.:D

Well in that case, you're good to go. There aren't really any places to install an extra tank though in a blazer. About the only thing is a larger tank in place of the original one but like was said, now you are hanging a tank even lower and ruin your departure angle and risk hitting the tank on rocks and stuff.

very true, i didnt really think about it hanging down:( dont want that.

thanks for the help, i will let you know what i end up doing.
