When reinstalling a Fiberglass Top is it a good idea or recommended to place some type of lubricant on the rubber gasket face on the Fiberglass Top and the Gasket Face on the Cab Header to keep it from leaking or make it easier to separate at a later date. Also is this advisable for the gasket that goes on the Bottom of the Fiberglass Top that faces the body "gunnels" that it sets on?

Looking for comments and recommendations on type of lubricant that one would use .

I just installed new Precision Inner and Outer Header weatherstrip seals and L/R top to body weatherstrip seals and would like to make sure it stays as close to weather tight as possible and be able to remove at a later date without damaging the seals.

Thanks in Advance.

I'm partial to 303 protectant for rubber.or try NuVinyl... or plain spray silicone as a last resort
