gasket or.....

Ok so I have a 700r and a np241. The adapter thing where the mount is connected to has a gasket attached to it,(I hope I explained that well enough) well I ruined it.(The gasket) Do you know the name of it, so I can get another? Or can I get away with just using RTV?

Well is it the paper gasket between the t-case and the adapter, or the rubber Oring between the trans and the adapter? either way I always just used RTV between the t-case and the adapter.

I use ultra black RTV.

i don't have a paper gasket on mine, been off a few times too, just use a light coating of a good quality RTV, i usually use the Ultra Black, always worked good for me.
