Hello I’m in the trouble comes in 3’s . Got the front crank seal done then rear back window went out now it’s the intake manifold gaskets leaking. Several years back I did head gaskets done and at the time the intake gasket set from Advanced Auto looked skimpy. My head gaskets I got were the heavy duty type. I want some Heavy Duty type Intake gaskets. Where can I get ones Heavy Duty. My power steering unit is also leaking so that’s going to be changed out also. Any suggestions. I didn’t even get to install power window parts cause of the weather and work.

Did you use the rubber/cork gaskets to seal the front and back of the manifold to the block? Those usually start leaking after a while therefore most people throw those out and lay down a fat bead of RTV (I use Right Stuff). For the gaskets I use Fel Pro.

Yes I did that. I had heads checked. Had some valve seats and valves replaced then installed with the better head gaskets. I installed intake and did use permatex gasket sealer instead of the rear rubber seal. Double checked not leaking there (rear ) but signs of leakage at rear passenger side of intake were it meets head last bolt area. I found someone on EBay selling the Victor Reinz set. There highly rated.

I'm a big fan of Fel-Pro personally. Never have issues with them and a bead of black RTV front and rear.

I’m going to Order the Victor Reinz set. If I don’t decide to use it which is doubtful then Felpro. I personally know mechanic who related they use Victor Reinz sets because it’s heavy duty along with with extra permatex around water ports getting good results.
