what is everyone using for the turbo outlet flange? only thing i found online that kinda resembles it is this

also, i cant find a gasket anywhere that matches the 6 bolt flange, i saw someone said to use copper RTV high temp, would that hold up on the turbo outlet and manifolds? or make one out of copper?

im gonna drop this motor in my sons truck that has the banks turbo on it, but looks like the PO made his own exhaust with scrap metal, comes out the turbo with 3", then drops to 2.5" then back to 3",...... and the crossover pipe has been repaired before, its a little crusty and has a kink in it, i just wanna replace all of it..... has anyone had any luck online finding a prebent crossover that works? or is the only option to have an exhaust shop try to make one?

The other thing ill need to figure out are the gaskets for the crossover pipe ends too.

just stopping in to see what every has done with their turbos. I have another banks kit i wanna install on a CUCV blazer, but it didnt come with the exhaust flange and will need to figure al this out on that truck as well. Thanks.

I haven't looked for a while for crossover pipe availability but a few years ago a few were looking and the only option was exhaust shop or you building it.
Might be worth check now.
I haven't had a banks in 15 years so I have no idea about sources for gaskets but on my ATS I had to make one.

ok, so i called my buddy that has a metal shop where he made the signs for my business, he said to bring him the old flange i have and he could possibly make me how ever many i need! so if anyone here needs these flanges let me know! not sure why i just thought of this hahaha.

so now just need to figure out the gasket on that and hope the exhaust shop can make a new crossover with new flange gaskets.

Links for the 6.2 Banks Sidewinder Turbo manuals:

Link to the 6 bolt gasket:

Link to flange. Double check with seller on the measurements. Usually I get them made at a local machine/laser shop.

The manual says to use the original donut exhaust manifold gaskets on the cross over pipe ends. If your Oem ones are bad, I believe these will work:

The exhaust crossover itself, part 25226 is currently not made. You would have to get one made custom.

Hope this helps!

Thanks!!! Sent you a text the other day, hope you are doing well!
That flange I also found on eBay, but the center bolt hole says 2.32” center to center. And the banks flange I believe is right at 2”. Hopefully this guy comes through and can make a couple
For me. I also have another turbo setup to put on the cucv I just bought.
Appreciate the info, I’m gonna go ahead and order those gaskets. I bought couple 6”x6” sheets of copper for him to cut but I think be best just to get the gaskets.

Right on! I am glad to have helped! My apologies on the double post with the flange lol! Yeah my main trucking job has me busy with a butt load of summer hours. Not much time to wrench except on Saturdays. Those gaskets should do the trick as long as the 6 bolts don’t get loose.
