I recently lost gauges in my dually volt meter, oil pressure, coolant temp, and fuel gauges were all working then on my way home from the mountain my fuel gauges pegged out and haven't moved then everything else went to hell.
All I can think is I lost main ground to the cluster, haven't really had a chance or the ambition to tear in to it to investigate yet.
Just curious if anybody knew of common fixes for this issue?
Any help appreciated, the welth of knowledge here is incredible!
Edit: moved post to here, seems to be the right spot

Pretty common that the IP connector (Instrument Panel in GM speak) on the back starts to lose contact with the flexible circuit on the back of the cluster. With that many things wrong, pretty good indication it's a connector issue.

The wire at the connector can come unlatched from the plastic connector and slide back breaking contact with the cluster board.
Had it happen with my amp gauge wire to the cluster.

Ah, too bad the pics went away. Nice write up

If anyone wants the pics, I can probably roll them up into a zip and email, really don't want to upload them again, fix links, etc. :(

The write up is thorough enough, should be good

Really only thing you can do. I don't have a dash pad in my truck, I'm not sure if you leave the pad in if you can remove the clear cover and access the gauges from the front. If you can, then you could test the terminals the gauges connect to for power, ground and signal, but the only way to get to the IP connector is pull the cluster out.
