I have a 1988 Crew Cab that has the stock wiring harness that goes to the gauges but its been cut and messed with now my problem is I did after market Auto Meter Gauges do I need them wires at all? are those wires a harness that goes into the bigger harness? or should I be ok to run all new wires for the gauges... I have all new gauges volts, water, oil, fuel, tach, and speedo

Are they electric? I'd probably just splice into whats there, oil/temp use a standalone sender wire straight to the gauge, 12V is fed off of I suspect one wire to your cluster, and there should be a ground there too. Electric will certainly be easy to add to the existing wiring.

Thanks Ill have to look into it a little more.. I am not good with wiring so this may take a little time on my part lol

Good learning experience, it's an easy one to learn because everything is already there. Just need to match up the wires.

Got a multimeter? If you've got money and don't have one, pony up. Continuity tester and voltmeters are a NECESSITY when doing electrical work. You'll feel a LOT better using one. Then you'll start using it everywhere...trust me. :)
