Gauges for custom Dash

Today I was getting $$IT done on the blazer. My dash s in horrible shape. The previous owner cut wayyyy too much metal to get an aftermarket radio put in and butchered most of it. He riveted a piece of tin in to hold his stereo and cover up his screw-up. I want to cut the rest of the instrument area out and build a custom dash complete with new after market gauges. My first question is what kind of speedo cable do these trucks have? I was looking at the autometer line just to see what kinds of input that they accept. It looks as if they are 5/8 in, -18 threaded cable input with .104 square drive. Is this what we have? My lazer is 1986 chevy K5. I was also going to run oil pressure, temp, battery, and trans temp as well as a tach. What do I need to look for when shopping for these?

I'm in the process of hashing out a bill of materials to replace my factory gauges in my '85 with aftermarket gauges (including an electric speedo), but I'm still in the planning stages.
