Looking at the pic, I'd say too much toe contact, and that you need to adjust your backlash. But, it is a pretty blurry pic too .. and I'm no gear guru by far.
 
yea there is alot of contact on the toe but the contact dosent run off the edge whatsoerver

I still think it's a little low on the toe and maybe too close to the face too. It's just hard to see it clearly enough.

But, if I'm seeing what I think I am.. it should be a little more like this:

Oh, and pardon my crummy freehand, it's not much better.

ive got 2 new ones that came with the kit, and we couldent get it to crush. i showed it to my auto tech teacher and he said, you can get away with using the old one thats already crushed aslong as you still get a good amount of preload on the bearing.

he has like 30 years of experience and he said thats how he has always done his so i decided to trust him
