I am going to take my 10blt front axle to a shop to have gears installed. I want to buy everything myself to give them to install. So I was wondering what I need other then the ring and pinion itself. I see alot of parts websites sell "install kits" but they all look alittle different or do I even need one. And They will have to pull the axles to install the new gears correct?? THANKS

You should probably get an install kit. It will include bearings, shims, a new crush sleeve, a new pinion nut and a new pinion seal.

You will need all of these things to setup gears except the bearings and replacing those is certainly not a bad idea. The install kit will probably run you ~$100.

I had thoughts of dooing this as well to save a little $. I knew I could get the gears and lockers cheaper online. But when I talked to the shop about this they said that they would not warranty the work if they did not buy the parts from there "trusted supplier". So I bought the few special tools necessary and insalled them mysealf and had CK5 and Pirate look at the pattern. Saved half off the install price and got tools out of the deal, and saved a few hunread on the lockers, gears and insall kit. That was over 2 years ago and have not had a problem since.
Good luck hopefully in your area the shops arent so strict.
