Yeah it does still need to be deeper. Keep removing shims from behind the pinion housing until it is perfect.
Your pattern is close so I would suggest making small changes in the shims. .002 is small but last time I did a 14FF I think the smallest shim was bigger than .002

I think you should still go a little deeper on the pinion. Starting to look pretty good now though.

BL at 7 and pinion at .024

BL at 7.5 and pinion at .026

To my oh so untrained eye 026 looks the best. What ya think ?
