gear ratio stamp

Where do I look to find the ratio stamp on a dana 44? I have the cover off and can't find it. I suppose I could always count the ring and pinion but someone told me the was a stamp. Anyone know?

<font color="green"> On the edge of the ring gear there are a bunch of numbers engraved. Two of these numbers are the tooth counts for the ring and pinion. Probably be in the neighborhood of 40 and 10.</font color>

the only #'s in the neighborhood are 12 and 41, does this mean I would have 3.42's?
