Gear Ratio ?

Alright so i have a dana 44 and i was told it has 4:56 gears in it. I took the cover off to check it out and i get this code, i was trying to figure it out on pavementsucks but it says to use the last group of numbers.. it looks like this..

5 11 69 Dana 18679 A3D21 50-11

its definitly different than my 14bolts code. Also what year is it? thanks for the help guys.

50/11= 4.55

Looks like '69 is the date code, but I'm not certain how the Dana codes work.

It is not uncommon for factory gear ratios to differ a couple of hundredths between the front and rear axles.
