whats the best and easiet way to find out what gear ratio's are in my 10 bolts, front and rear? the blazer is a stock 83 k5 with the exeption of being converted from a 6.2 diesel to a 305 sbc........thanks

Pull the cover and rotate the ring gear until you can see the numbers stamped on the edge of it. The last 4 sets of numbers are what you want to look for.

41 12 09 82 might be close to what is on your ring gear.
09 82 would be build date
41 12 would be ratio...in this example the gear ratio would be 3.42:1
