gear???

okay so i checked the gear tag on my front d44 on my 3/4 ton truck. i feel stupid askin but here it goes

is there such ratio as 4.09?? thats whats on the id tag

yes, 45 Ring teeth x 11 pinion - I think that was the Dana version of the 4.10

but i cant seem to find anything on it!

it has a 14bff in the rear, so i guess its also a 4.09?

dont sweat it, its the same as a 4.10 or a 4.11, 4.09 is still an option by certain ring gear makers

If you go to LMC truck they show new ring gears for the Dana 44 in 4.09 so they are out there, it is just a matter of finding them.
