I just picked up an 8 lug ten bolt. When I popped the cover on the diff I found these numbers on the ring gear. 13 42 12 79. Now the last four numbers are the month and year right? Does this thing really have 3.23 gears?

Apparently. You could count teeth or check the glovebox (if you have access to it) to verify. The RPO for 3.23 gears should be GU5.

No, I dont have the vehicle. I have just never heard of those gears in a burban... Which I'm assuming is what this came out of.
