I'm ready to take the plunge and buy the soft top for my 75. The soft topper is the only one I've been able to find. Anybody have any experience or opinions with these before I put out that much money?

Skyler is supposed to start selling their tops again this spring. I will be buying one as soon as they are available myself.

I seen ORD is selling some, are these the same ones your talking about. Im so tempted to go Soft top and tube doors. :woot:

Thats the one. I've seen them listed on ORD, and they have better pics of it on softopper site. Never heard of Skylar, but I'm going to check it out.

I forked out the cash and bought the Softtopper at the beginning of winter becuase the engine in my ZR2 winter ride died. I did not have a top on my K5,summer use only. Forced to drive the K5 this winter. It is built verry well, much better than the Best Top that I had. The only thing that I was not that happy about was the fitment around the back of the front windows. Not quite cut right to fit the caps on top of the doors, also the top back of the door would pinch the fabric. I was able to modify easily so it is no longer a problem. The other issue is the rain flap on top of the windows gets stuck inside the windows when you shut them. Modified that as well and ok now. I really had trouble with the cost but had to do it. I am not sure how well it folds and stows into the back yet becuase it has been cold and wintry. Satisfaction 4 out of 5.

Thanks for the info. Looking at pictures I could see where those little rain flaps on the windows would be a problem. Really interested in how well it folds down since it will be that way most of the time.

Planning on getting a softopper this spring once I get my tax return. I havnt seen a skyler before, do the sides roll up like the softopper?
