Ok I bought dirty dingo engine mounts and set my L83 engine in the frame. I was told the power steering setup was cheapest with these mounts. Now I realize that the brackets for the steering and stuff are crazy expensive. Does anyone know if I can use the Tejas steel works power steering bracket and pump with my dirty dingo motor mounts? Or can I use a type 2 pump with the dirty dingo mounts?
I was also told by my harness builder that I can't use the factory pulse width modulation AC compressor. Turns out I can use the factory compressor as long as I send 12 volts to the solenoid at the back of the unit. Why would I buy a Sanden unit when I have a perfectly good one that came with the motor?
When I figure this out I'm gonna put a list together of compatible parts and setups.
