Gen V 454 into 82 C10 questions

82 C10, was 305, getting 1993 454.
Two concerns I have, will the stock 6qt oil pan fit the 82 chassis? And do i need new frame stands for big block? Thanks for any help

I have swapped my smallblock with a gen v big block from one truck to another without any changes on either.

ditch the stock rubber clamshell mounts, they'll fail prematurey and your pan will be resting on the crossmember.

I went to the ord poly bushing type. Very happy with them

I put a mark IV in with the 6 qt pan, no issues.
I used Kerts mounts....they are super stout!
